The threads are good - the pedals came out easily and crank removal tool threaded in smoothly. The bike had pretty low miles on it, so the chainrings are all good and there is minimal pedal rub for a black Shimano crankset of this era. This crankset came from an early 90s mountain bike and is in good working condition. The original dust caps are included and in great condition.
